INI CET 2021 July Session Basic Registration Begins; Here’s Direct Link and Steps To Register

INI-CET is a Combined Entrance Test (CET) for admission into postgraduate courses [MD, MS, DM (6 yrs), MCh (6 yrs), and MDS] at Institutes of National Importance (INI) for Medical Education namely, AIIMS-New Delhi and all the new AIIMS, JIPMER-Puducherry, PGIMER Chandigarh, NIMHANS-Bengaluru.

All India Institutes of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has commenced the basic registration for INI CET 2021. Candidates can register online at aiimsexams.org for the July 2021 session. The last date to complete the basic registration is March 31, 2021, by 5:00 pm. Only those candidates who will complete the PAAR Basic Registration will be allowed to proceed for the final registration. The dates of final registration and completion of the application form will be announced in due course of time.

All applicants who have applied earlier and whose Registration and Basic Candidate Information have been accepted for January 2019, July 2019, January 2020, July 2020 session, and January 2021 session are not required to fill the Registration and Basic candidate information again. Such candidates will however have to complete the application form only after the generation of fresh Exam Unique Code (EUC) for INI-CET July 2021. The EUC generation will start later.

On the other hand, the candidates who have not done basic registration for January 2021 session and all those whose Registration and Basic Candidate Information was incomplete or rejected due to “Incomplete/invalid Images” are also allowed to complete their Registration and Basic Candidate Information.

Basic registration is the first step that the candidates have to complete to apply for any PG course under INI CET 2021. If the basic registration is accepted, then the candidates can proceed to the final registration that is specific to the PG course that the candidate wishes to apply for. Only the candidates whose basic registration is accepted will get Exam Unique Code (EUC). The EUC is generated separately for each entrance exam.

To do basic registration candidates have to visit the official website aiimsexams.org. The basic registration is done in Prospective Applicants Advanced Registration (PAAR portal). The candidates have to then access the link that says “Click here for New Registration and Basic Candidate Information”. After reading the details the candidates have to proceed to fill in the basic details. After that, the candidates have to upload the scanned images. Then they need to print the form.

The documents needed to complete the basic registration are valid E-mail ID and Mobile / Phone number, personal details, valid Photo ID, scanned / digital image of recent colour size photograph with white background, image of signature, and image of Left thumb impression.

If applicable, the candidates will also need their category Certificate and / or PWBD(Persons With Benchmark Disability) Certificate.

The exam is held twice a year: in the month of May for admission for July session in the same year and the month of November for admission starting January next year. The exam will be conducted by AIIMS New Delhi in a computer-based test format.
