All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has released the admit card of INI CET 2021 on its official website aiimsexams.ac.in. Whereas the hall ticket was supposed to be out yesterday, it was done after a day’s delay today. Medical graduates who have applied for the Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Test (INI CET 2021) can now download their admit cards from the login page. The PG medical entrance exam will be held on Thursday, July 22, 2021.
Candidates may encounter technical issues on the website aiimsexams.ac.in, where the admit card has been released. The website is going intermittently down today, seemingly due to the heavy traffic. Nevertheless, the issue ought to be resolved in some time. Thus, if any candidate is not able to download hall ticket immediately, can try in some time.
To download the admit card, the applicants need to visit the website of the INI CET portal of AIIMS, on aiimsexams.ac.in. The admit card is accessible from the login portal from “MyPage”.
Steps to download the admit card are as follows:
Step-1: Go to aiimsexams.ac.in.
Step-2: Click on the link ‘academic courses’.
Step-3: Next, click ‘INI-CET(MD/MS/MCh(6yrs)/DM(6yrs)’.
Step-4: A pop up opens. Click the link ‘proceed’ on it.
Step-5: Then under the section ‘general tabs’, click ‘registration / login’.
Step-6: Now candidates need to enter their Registration Id, EUC (Examination Unique Code), password, and a captcha code. Then, hit the login button.
Step-7: Once logged in, click the admit card tab to get the hall ticket.
The candidates will have to download and take printout of their admit card. The admit card carries applicant name, test date, centre and exam timing along with the instruction. Candidates will have to carry their INI CET admit card along with additional documents for verification at the examination centre.
Following the apex court guidelines, the entrance test is proposed to be conducted following the COVID-19 related guidelines issued by the Govt. of India from time to time. It will be held at the designated centres in cities all over India. Candidates appearing in examination will have to strictly follow the instructions printed on the admit card. Wearing a face mask is mandatory for all candidates, invigilators and other staff members inside the examination hall.
INI CET 2021 will be held in computer based mode from 09:00 am to 12:00 noon. The test will carry a total 200 multiple choice type questions to be answered in a duration of 3 hours. Earlier, INI CET 2021 entrance examination was supposed to be conducted on June 16, but later on the directions of Hon’ble Supreme court of India it was postpone to a later date. Releasing an official notice on June 18, it was decided to hold the entrance exam on July 22, 2021.
In a recent announcement, the centre has announced the exam date of the only other PG medical entrance exam, NEET PG 2021. It will now be held on September 11, 2021. The exam was earlier postponed due to the then COVID-19 situations and on the demands of the medical students.
Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Test (INI CET) is conducted for admission to PG courses like MD, MS, M.Ch.(6years), DM(6years), and MDS. Being a nodal agency AIIMS conduct the test and facilitates admissions to eligible and shortlisted candidates on available seats in participating Institutes.
INI-CET is considered for admission to PG courses of all Indian National Institutes including AIIMS New Delhi, AIIMS Bhopal, AIIMS Bhubaneshwar, AIIMS Jodhpur, AIIMS Nagpur, AIIMS Patna, AIIMS Raipur, AIIMS Rishikesh, JIPMER Puducherry, NIMHANS Bengaluru and PGIMER Chandigarh, for July 2021 session.
