Indian Army NCC 47 Special Entry is that mode of joining Indian Army which is specifically for NCC ‘C’ Certificate holders, as well as wards of battle casualties of Army personnel. For NCC men, there are 50 vacancies, and for NCC women, there are 5 vacancies. Indian Army is also simultaneously doing recruitment for SSC Tech 54, and JAG 24.
Last date to apply online is August 8, 2019. The online application was opened on July 10, 2019. Candidates must apply before 12 hours of the last date. Queries regarding applications will be answered upto August 5, 2019.
It is necessary to have 50% in graduation in order to be eligible for NCC 47 Special Entry 2019. Please note that through this, recruitment is being done for Apr 2020 batch.
The interested and eligible candidates must apply through joinindianarmy.nic.in. To apply, go to the website >> click on officers entry apply / login >> registration. Instructions appear on the screen as one proceeds through the online form. Upon registration, profile opens, where officers selection eligibility is displayed. Those eligible, can apply online then.
Two copies of application having roll number must be downloaded 30 minutes after application form closes on last date. One of these copies must be taken, duly signed and self-attested, with photograph, to selection centre of SSB. The other must be retained.
Both male and female officers have to serve 10 years. The tenure might be extended by a period of four years as per their suitability and eligibility.
For service in NCC, the candidates need to serve a minimum of two academic years in the senior division or wing of NCC. They need to obtain a minimum of B grade in C certificate exam of NCC. The NCC candidates have to be between 19 to 25 years of age.
There are certain physical requirements as well for NCC candidates. The male candidates should have a height of 157.5 cm, whereas a female candidate should have a height of 152 cms.
The selection of the candidates will be done through the interview process and medical examination. The applications will be sent to the Rtg. Directorate through HQ DG NCC units. Then they will be forwarding the applications to the state directorates who will forward the same to the DG NCC unit. The candidates will be then shortlisted through screening carried out by the NCC directories. Then they will be called for the interview. The documents that have to be carried by the candidates during the selection procedure are – copies of 12 / graduation certificates and mark-sheets of all the semesters throughout the year, copy of original NCC certificates (not required from the wards of battle casualties).
