The countdown has begun for the Indian Air Force Airmen 02/2019 result. The IAF will release the ever demanding result today at airmenselection.cdac.in. The Airmen Selection examination was held on September 13 to 16, 2018.
The official website of Airmen selection is showing the notice that IAF will release the result at 11:00 AM on October 09, 2018. The result will be released through login the candidates have to use their login credentials for downloading the result such as email id and password.
As per the report, around 05 lakh candidates appeared in the examination. are now waiting for the result. Previously the result was supposed to release in the month of September 2018. That’s why the aspirants are being desperate to know the result.
Further Process of Selection
After the announcement of the Airmen Result, the name of qualifiers for the next round will be revealed. Then those candidates who will get the result status as cleared will be issued the admit card for the Physical Efficiency Test. As of now, there is no official announcement about PET dates, but very soon IAF will release the dates of PET. The candidates have to appear on the said center with the proper set of documents. In PET the candidates have to perform various physical tasks including a run of 1.6 km within 06 minutes 30 seconds, and 10 Push-ups, 10 Sit-ups, and 20 Squats within the stipulated time.
After PET the qualifiers have to appear in Adaptability Test. In Airmen Selection procedure there are two stages in Adaptability Test called Adaptability I and II. The Adaptability Test I is conducted to test the suitability of the candidate for the employment in Indian Airforce. The nature of the test is an objective type written examination. On qualifying the stage I of Adaptability the candidates have to move for the second stage in which they will be tested for who can adapt the environment of Indian Air Force, and can easily live the military life.
The process of selection doesn’t end here, After Adaptability Test the qualified candidates have to appear in the medical examination where they will be tested for their medical fitness. In order to appear in the medical examination, the candidates have to download the medical examination call letter from official website of Airmen Selection airmenselection.cdac.in. The candidate’s fitness is measured on different parameters by taking their blood and urine sample, apart from this candidate have to undergo the ECG and X-ray test as well.
