India Government Mint Mumbai, a unit of SPMCIL, is looking for eligible candidates for the post of Supervisor in Technical Operations, Supervisor Safety Office, Engraver, Junior Assistant and Junior Technician. An official notification in this regard has also been released with Advt. No/. 02/Admn/ 2020 on the official website, igmmumbai.spmcil.com. A total of 30 vacancies are announced for the said posts. Interested and eligible candidates can submit the application form before October 04, 2020.
Out of the total 30 vacancies, 11 vacancies are announced for Supervisor Techcial Operations, 01 for Supervisor Safety Officer, 07 for Engraver, 01 for Junior Office Assistant and 10 vacancies for Junior Technician. The online examination for these posts will be conducted in the month of November 2020. Candidates are recruited under Supervisor Technical Operations and Supervisor Safety Officer posts receive a monthly salary of Rs. 26000/- to Rs. 100000/-, Rs. 8500 – Rs. 20850/- for Engraver, Rs. 8350/- to Rs. 20470/- for Junior Ofice Assistant and Rs. 7750/- to Rs. 19040/- for Junior Technician posts.
Applications from only eligible candidates who meet the prescribed eligibility criteria are accepted. Those who have Diploma/ full time ITI certificate in relevant trades for Junior Technician posts. Graduate candidates who have typing speed in Hindi of 30 WPM are eligible to submit applications for Junior Office Assistant post. Candidates with a bachelors degree in Fine Arts with 55% marks can apply for Engraver post. To apply of Supervisor Technical Operation, candidates must have passed Diploma in Engineering in the concerned subject. Those who possess a degree in any branch of Engineering can apply for Supervisor Safety Officer.
Other than the educational qualification, applicants also have to make sure that they meet the age limit as specified. Candidate’s age should not be more than that of 30 years to apply for Supervisor Technical Operations and Supervisor Safety Officer post. Those who are applying for Engraver and Junior Office Assistant post have to ensure that their age does not exceed that of 28 years. The maximum age limit for Junior Technician post is 25 years.
The application procedure for the said posts is conducted through online mode only. Applicants have to visit the official website, igmmumbai.spmcil.com, to get the online application form link. After reaching the website, they have to click on careers > ‘click here to apply’ link. Thereafter, applicants are redirected to the login page where they have to register themselves by clicking on ‘new registration’ button. The online application fee for IGM recruitment can be submitted on or before October 04, 2020. Candidates can take a print out of the filled in applications form by October 19, 2020, for future reference.
