Around 55K students will compete to take admission in the Institute, which has been ranked 23 in NIRF 2018 ranking.

As the IIFT 2019 admit card is available, candidates must download it without any delay. Do not wait for the last date and importantly locate the exam centre at least one day before the exam day. The admit card contains the important details mentioning candidates’ registration details, test centre, and important instructions. These are 5 key things that students should not miss out in their hall tickets.

#1. Photograph and Signature

Candidates can carry one of the original identity proof among Aadhar card, driving license, voter-id, PAN, passport. Since this is an offline examination, candidates must carry pencils to fill the OMR sheet. In addition to HB pencils, also keep erasers, sharpeners, and ballpoint pen.

#3. Reporting Time

Do not miss to check reporting time on the admit card. The exam will start exactly 10:00 AM and over at 12:00 Noon sharp. So, all the test takers have to exam centre before 9:00 AM. As document verification takes time, reaching the centre on time helps to appear for the exam without any hassle. Importantly, no candidate will get entry after 10:00 AM.

#4. Exam Centre

On the admit card, check the exam centre and city. The IIFT Exam will take place in 20 cities all over India. Candidates will get the exam city according to the preferences filled by them in the application form. Even this time students got the limited window to edit the test city details in the form. It is possible that students get centre out of preferred choice depending upon the availability of seats in a particular centre. Moreover, the decision for exam centre is final, no request regarding this will be entertained.

Locate the exam centre before the exam either physically or use the google maps.

#5. Debarred Items

On the exam day, candidates must not carry debarred items. Carrying any debarred items will lead to the cancellation of the exam.  Some of the debarred items includes phones, calculators, rulers, smart watches, bluetooth devices, drawing instruments or any reading material.
