The last date to apply for IGNOU MBA and Post Basic B.Sc Nursing 2021 is March 20, 2021. Candidates who plan to apply must do so as soon as possible. Admission to the MBA course is being done via the entrance exam OPENMAT-XLIX. For admission in Post Basic B.Sc Nursing, candidates need to apply for OPENNET IX. The exam date for both of these exams is April 11, 2021.
To fill the application form candidates have to visit the official website, ignounursing.samarth.edu.in/index.php to apply for Post Basic B.Sc Nursing OPENNET IX. On the other hand, to apply for MBA, candidates have to visit sedservices.ignou.ac.in/entranceopenmat/.
After reaching the respective websites, candidates have to register, fill the application form, upload the needed documents and pay the application fee. The application fee to apply for OPENNET 2021 is Rs. 150 per theory and Rs. 150 per practical course. To apply for IGNOU MBA OPENMAT 2021 the application fee is Rs. 1000.
There is no age limit to apply for the IGNOU Post Basic B.Sc Nursing 2021 admission. However, to apply all the in-service nurses, Registered nurse and Registered mid-wife (RNRM) must have qualified 10+2. They must have completed 3 year of Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM). Also, a minimum of 2 years of experience in the profession after RNRM is required. Or in-service nurses who have completed their 10+2 or its equivalent with 3 years Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) with minimum 5 years of experience in profession after RNRM are also eligible to apply. Note that, the candidates with less than 2 years of experience after RNRM cannot apply.
To apply for IGNOU MBA 2021 admission, candidates must be a graduate in any field may including chartered accountancy, company secretaryship, Cost accountancy, etc. However, general candidates must have a minimum of 50% in graduation and the reserved category candidates must have 45% marks. MBA admission in IGNOU also has no age bar.
The entrance test for IGNOU Post Basic B.Sc Nursing 2021 is held for the in-service diploma holder nurses. The exam is a pen-paper-based test. The duration of the course is 3 years. IGNOU Post Basic B.Sc Nursing 2021 entrance test will be conducted on April 11, 2021. The candidates who qualify the entrance test are then required to take part in the counselling held region-wise.
The duration of the OPENNET IX exam will be of 2.5 hours. The test will have multiple-choice questions and there will be 120 questions in the exam. Each question will be of 1 mark and the questions in the test will be asked from various subjects taught in GNM.
OPENMAT-XLIX will be held on April 11, 2021, in offline mode. In the exam, there will be 200 MCQs and the total time for the exam will be 3 hours. Questions will be asked from General Awareness, English language, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning. From these sections, the total number of questions that will be asked are 30, 50, 50, and 70 respectively.
