The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) has announced the ICSI CS Exam Date 2021. The ICSI CS 2021 Exam will now take place from August 10 to 20, 2021. CBT exam for Foundation Programme will be organized on August 13 and 14, 2021. The complete revised ICSI CS Time Table 2021 is uploaded on the official website, icsi.edu
On June 07, 2021, ICSI has published an official notification announcing the revised dates for the ICSI CS exam. As per the notice, CS Examinations for Foundation Programme, Executive Programme (Old and New syllabus) and Professional Programme (Old and New Syllabus) are rescheduled. Now, the exam will take place from August 10, 2021, to August 20, 2021. The detailed timetable has already been released on the ICSI website.
Earlier, the exam for Foundation Programme, Executive Programme (old and new syllabus) and Professional Programme (old and new syllabus) was expected to take place from June 01, 2021, to June 10, 2021. However, due to COVID-19, the conducting body has decided to postpone the June 2021 exam further to August 2021.
As per the new ICSI CS Time Table, the Executive Programme (Old and New Syllabus) will take place from August 10, 2021, to August 18, 2021, except August 15, 2021, which is Sunday. Similarly, the Professional Programme (Old and New Syllabus) is scheduled from August 10, 2021, to August 20, 2021, except August 15, and August 19, 2021. Moreover, the shift timings for both the examination is same – 10:00 AM to 01:00 PM. However, the Institute reserves August 21, 22, 23 and 24, 2021 in case of any emergency. The Computer-based exam for ICSI Foundation Programme (June Exam 2021) will also take place in August 2021. Paper 1 (Business Environment and Law) and Paper 2 (Business Management, Ethics and Entrepreneurship) are scheduled for August 13, 2021. Paper 3 (Business Economics) and Paper 4 (Fundamentals of accounting and Auditing) will be on August 14, 2021. Both of these exams will be conducted in four different batches – 09.00 AM to 11.00 AM, 12.00 PM to 1.30 PM, 2.30 PM to 4.00 PM and 5.00 PM to 6.30 PM. The CS Executive exam includes 08 papers. Aspirants have to secure a minimum of 40% marks in each subject and 50% marks in aggregate to qualify for the exam. Candidates who have passed the CS Executive exam can appear for CS Professional curse. It has 09 papers. To clear the CS Professional exam, candidates need to secure a minimum of 40% marks in each subject and 50% marks in aggregate.
