ICMR- Regional Medical Research Centre, Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for the post of Scientist-B, Senior Research Fellow, Project Technical Officer, Research Assistant, Laboratory Technician and Data Entry Operator. A total of 08 vacancies are announced for the said recruitment. As per the notification, ICMR- RMRCNE will conduct an interview on September 22, 2020, for the selection. The interview will either be conducted as a walk-interview or online interview. Eligible candidates have to appear for the same as per schedule at ICMR- RMRCNE N. E Region Dibrugarh Assam. The recruitment to these posts is completely on a temporary basis. Those are selected Scientist B post gets a monthly salary of Rs. 48,000/-, Senior Research Fellow gets Rs. 28,000/-, Project Technical Officer and Research Assistant get 31,000/-, Data Entry Operator (Grade B) and Laboratory Technician gets Rs. 18,000/- and Data Entry Operator (Grade A) receives Rs. 17,000/-.
To apply for the Scientist B posts, candidates must have a masters degree in Life Sciences/ Molecular Biology/ Biotechnology/ Bioinformatics/ Biochemistry with 02 years of research experience. Those who have a Masters degree in concerned subjects and PhD degree are also eligible for Scientist-B post. Candidates with Masters degree in Life Sciences/ Molecular Biology/ Biotechnology/ Bioinformatics/ Biochemistry with 02 years of research experience are eligible for the post of Senior Research Fellow. Those who have a graduation degree in Life Sciences/ Molecular Biology/ Biotechnology/ Bioinformatics/ Biochemistry/ Medical Social Work/ Sociology/ Anthropology can apply for Project Technical Officer. To apply for Research Assistant, candidates must have graduation/ masters degree in concerned subjects with relevant work experience. 12th pass candidates can also apply for Lab Technician, DEO (Grade A and Grade B) post.
Candidates who wish to appear for the interview are requested to submit their online application form as per the schedule. To attend the interview, applicants have to abide by the COVID-19 preventive measures. They have to go through a preliminary temperature screening at the entrance gate, wear a mask and follow the social distancing norms. Candidates should come up for an interview with bio-data, 02 copies of recent passport size photograph, self-attested copies of certificates in support of age, educational qualifications, caste and experience with original documents.
