Indian Council for Forestry Research and Education is inviting applications for the 06 vacant pots of Research Associate and Senior Project Fellowship. ICFRE has advertised these vacancies through an official notification published on the official website, icfre.gov.in. Candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria are invited to apply for these posts before September 22, 2020.
The recruitment of Research Associate and Senior Project Fellowship is advertised under the Information Technology Division of Indian Council of Forestry Research and Education. Those who are recruited under these posts have to perform duties such as the running and management of Data Centre Services (Server Farm) at ICFRE Head Quarter.
Out of 06 vacancies, ICFRE has announced 04 vacancies for Research Associate and 02 vacancies for Senior Project Fellowship. These posts are available only on a temporary basis for a period of 06 months. For their service period, Senior Project Fellowship gets Rs. 18,000/- and Research Associate gets Rs. 47,000/- per month.
The aspirant must possess relevant educational qualification and work experience. Those who possess Doctorate degree or 03 years experience in Linux server Environment after post-graduation in Engineering/ Technology, MCA or BE/B. Tech can apply for a Research Associate. Applicants with postgraduation degree in Engineering/ Technology, MCA, BE/ B. Tech and 02 years experience in Linux server Environment can apply for Senior Project Fellowship.
Other than the educational qualification, candidates shall also possess relevant work experience. Candidates must have worked (03 years for Research Associate and 02 years for Senior Project Fellowship) in Linux server Environment with Management of LAN/WAN Networks and Routers/ UTM/Oracle database / Domino Mail Solutions.
Moreover, while applying for the advertised post of Research Associate candidate’s age should be more than that of 35 years. Aspirants intending to apply for Senior Project Fellowship have to ensure that their upper age is not more than 32 years. However, age relaxation is permissible to reserved categories for both the posts.

The final selection is based on the eligibility and performance of candidates in the interview round.
