ICAR – Indian Agricultural Research Institute is inviting applications for the post of Junior Research Fellow. An official notification in this regard is published recently on the website by ICAR, iari.res.in. As per the notification, ICAR will be conducting a walk-in-interview/ online interview to shortlist candidates for the said posts. The recruitment is announced only for 01 vacancies. Eligible and interested candidates are suggested to submit their application form before September 22, 2020.
The walk-in-interview/ online interview is scheduled to be held on September 29, 2020, at 10:00 AM. Eligible candidates have to be present in the Division of Agricultural engineering ICAR – Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI), New Delhi 110012. Candidates are appointed as Junior Research Fellow under the project titled “Development of Intervention for micro-climate moderation for tractor operator comfort”. This project is funded by DST, Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India. Those who are recruited under this post receives a monthly salary of Rs. 31,000 plus HRA.
To apply for the aforementioned posts, candidates have to ensure that they meet the prescribed eligibility criteria by ICAR. A candidate who has a Master’s degree in Agricultural Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering/ Mechatronic/ Electronic with a minimum of 04/ 05 years of Bachelor’s degree is eligible for the post. Those who have CAD experience for mechanical/ farm machinery design/ electronic circuit development/ refrigeration engineering/ ergonomics are desirable. Candidate’s age should be minimum 18 years and maximum of 35 years. The upper age limit is relaxable for the reserved category candidates. The maximum age is relaxable up to 05 years for SC/ ST/ Women candidates and up to 03 years for OBC candidates.
Due to the current situations of COVID-19, ICAR is conducting the application procedure only. Eligible candidates who fulfil the eligibility are advised to send their applications in proforma with self-attested copies of the documents to PI’s email – tapankhura2020@gmail.com. Candidates can get the prescribed proforma of the applications through the released advertisement. Along with the application form, candidates also have to send self-attested copies of the documents such as the certificates and mark sheets of educational qualifications, work experience (if any) and no objection certificate from the employer in case of currently employed elsewhere. Both, the application and documents, should be converted into one single PDF and then sent to the prescribed email address.
Eligible candidates are informed about them shortlisting for the interview through SMS sent to the mobile number. Shortlisted candidates have to be present for the interview as per the schedule. Candidates reporting after the specified time are not entertained.
