The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has made an important announcement regarding the change in venue at Hyderabad. The reason for the change in venue has not been stated by the Institute. The venue change announcement is applicable for students of CA Foundation, Intermediate and Final who are going to appear for the May 2019 exam.
Due to unavoidable circumstances, the venue of Intermediate, Foundation and Final Examinations scheduled to be held from May 27, 2019, to June 13, 2019, in respect of some of the candidates at Hyderabad is being shifted. Candidates should to take note of the change in venue and appear in their examination/s, at the new venue as mentioned above.
Furthermore, candidates should note that the CA Admit Card issued already for May 2019 exam remain valid for the new venue also. This means that no new admit card is going to be issued to such candidates.
To download CA May 2019 exam Admit Card, candidates need to visit the official website at icaiexam.icai.org. On the homepage, click on the Login/ Register tab and then enter your Login ID and Password. Submit the details and in the next screen, click on the relevant link for downloading the Admit Card.
On the day of the test, candidates need to carry a print out of the CA Admit Card. Candidates may take a color print out or black and white print out, however, the details should be clearly visible on it. Other than the admit card, applicants also have to carry a one stamp size photograph (matching with the photograph affixed on the attested letter) to the exam center for affixing the same at the appropriate place in the attendance register.
After downloading the admit card, if a candidate find out that there is no photo or signature of him/her in it, the admit card will be still valid. All they have to do is paste their photograph and affix signatures in the area marked on the printout of the admit card and get this page attested by a member of the Institute (member may indicate his/her Name, membership number, and office stamp while signing/attesting at the bottom of that page) and carry the same to the examination center.
CA IPCC May exam is scheduled to held on 28, 30 May 2019 and 01, 03 Jun 2019 for Group I and on 06, 08, 10 & 12 Jun 2019 for Group II. ICAI will be conducting CA Foundation May 2019 exam on June 04, 07, 09, 11, 2019. Lastly, CA Final May 2019 exam is scheduled to be held online on May 27, 29, 31, and June 04, 2019 for Group I (Old and New Scheme), and on June 07, 09, 11, 2019 for Group II (Old and New Scheme).
