Intelligence Bureau has declared the result of ACIO 2021 Tier-I exam on the MHA website. The examination was conducted in February 2021 to fill up more than 2000 vacancies for the post of Assistant Central Intelligence Officer (ACIO). Candidates who took the test can check the result at the official website i.e. mha.gov.in. The roll number of all the shortlisted candidates has been indicated in the IB ACIO Result 2021. Successful candidates will appear in the Tier II exam to be held in due course of time.
How to Check IB ACIO Result 2021?
The IB ACIO 2021 Tier I exam was conducted in February 2021 from 18th to 20th. Those who took the test earlier can now check if they have qualified for the next stage Tier II exam in the ACIO 2021 result. In order to check the result, candidates need to open the official website of the Ministry of Home Affairs available at mha.gov.in.
On the homepage of the official website, one must scroll down to the Whats New section. Under this section, candidates can see the direct link to check the ACIO Result 2021 of the written exam held in February. The link is updated as Result of Tier-I Exam of ACIO-II/Exe Exam-2020.
Upon clicking the aforementioned link, a PDF opens up where another link is given. Candidates have to copy and paste this link from the PDF to the address bar of a compatible internet browser and press enter. By doing so, the candidate is redirected to a new page which says To View Result of Tier-I Exam of ACIO-II/Exe Exam-2020 Click Here.
The result PDF, indicating the roll number of candidates who have qualified through the Tier I exam opens up. Candidates can search their Roll Number using the CTRL+F function on the keyboard. The result indicates the roll numbers of only those candidates who have qualified in the Tier I written exam.
IB ACIO 2021 Roll Number in Result PDF
It may be noted that the IB ACIO 2021 Result enlists qualifiers of the Tier I exam in terms of their roll number. However, the arrangement of the roll numbers in the result is not according to merit. Thus, it is not necessary that the roll number at the top of the list indicates the highest scorer.
Instead of merit-wise arrangement, the roll numbers has been arranged in ascending order, to be read horizontally. Thus, candidates with a roll number which is higher in terms of numerical value needs to scroll down to the bottom of the list.
IB ACIO 2021 Tier I Cut Off Marks
Candidates may note that Intelligence Bureau has not released the cut off marks of the Tier I ACIO 2021 written exam. It is expected that the cut-offs may be releases in due course of time. Based on unofficial reports, the cut offs for General category is expected to be in the range of 68 to 72. Similarly, the cut offs for OBC category is expected to be in the range of 66 to 70. For SC/ST categories, the cut offs are expected to be in the range of 55 to 60 marks.
