The University of Hyderabad has sought application form from eligible candidates regarding the M.Tech and M.PA course. The candidates who are aspiring for any of the two courses can apply for the same from June 21 to July 20, 2021. The University will select the deserving candidates via an entrance test that will be held in August and September 2021. As per the official prospectus, the candidates who are appearing for a qualifying examination can apply if their result is out by 31 July 2021.
The basic eligibility for the candidates applying for the Masters Integrated program is the completion of Graduation with 60% marks from a recognised University. While the candidates seeking admission in any of the PhD courses have to score at least 55% marks in the Master’s program in the aforesaid subjects. The Foreign Nationals who wish to take admission to Hyderabad University are required to complete their qualifying degree and are also required to complete IELTS with 6.5 scores and TOEFL with the minimum score as mentioned in the official prospectus.
The application process will be conducted online and the candidates are required to fill the application form by visiting the official website i.e. acad.uohyd.ac.in. Post this, the candidates are required to click on the Application form 2021 on the homepage. Thereafter they are required to enter their application number and Date of Birth and hit the Search button. Post this, the application form will open wherein the candidates are required to enter their important details i.e. Marks scored in SSC/HSC/Graduation exam, Course applying for, subject choice, name of the test centre, Nationality, domicile, category etc.
Next, the candidates have to upload their scanned photograph and signature on the official website. The photograph and signature must be scanned and the size of the same should be 50 kb and 10 kb respectively. While the scanned size of the caste certificate should not be more than 200 kb. On the next page, the candidates have to enter their permanent or correspondence address in detail.
Thereafter, comes the application fee page and the application fee of all the courses has to be paid online using any of the payment gateways i.e. Debit/Credit Card or Net banking, etc. The application fee is Rs 600 for General, Rs 550 for EWS candidates while it is Rs 400 and 275 for OBC and SC/ST candidates.
The University will conduct an entrance test for all the eligible candidates for admission in their desired courses in August and September 2021. The questions in the entrance test will be based on the subjects studied by the candidates in the last qualifying examination. Moreover, the final merit list of the entrance test will be prepared on the overall marks scored by the candidates in the same.
