The information Bulletin and other information related to HTET 2020 will be out soon on the official website, bseh.org.in.

Secretary of Haryana Vidyalaya Education Board, Bhiwani has suggested the examination dates for HTET 2020 to the Director. As per the reports, the examination date was suggested to be conducted on November 21, 2020 and November 22, 2020, i.e for 02 days. The Director of Secondary Education, Haryana Panchkula has accepted the proposal. The conducting body has also asked to update the information bulletin and other related information for HTET exam 2020.

Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) is a state level examination of Haryana state which is conducted to provide eligibility to future teachers. HTET exam takes place once every year. Qualifying this examination helps aspiring teachers to be eligible and apply for teacher posts in various Haryana Government schools. HTET takes place for Postgraduate Teacher (PGT), Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) and Primary Teacher (PRT).

Only those candidates who meet the eligibility criteria will be eligible to submit their applications. They must have passed 12th class and possess graduation/ post-graduation degree to apply for HTET exam. Moreover, they shall also possess B. Ed/ D. El. Ed while applying for HTET. The application procedure is conducted on the official website of Haryana School Education Board (HSEB) i.e. bseh.org.in. Eligible candidates can submit their applications by uploading the scanned copies of their photograph, and other necessary documents.

As per the previous year trends, BSEH conducts an offline examination for HTET. Aspirants have to attempt 150 Multiple Choice Questions. These questions are designed in Hindi as well as in the English language. Each question of Haryana TET carries 01 marks. However, there is no negative marking in this examination. The written examination will take place for 02 hours and 03 minutes. Last year, candidates have to secure minimum 60% marks (90 marks out of 150 marks) to qualify the HTET exam and get HTET certificate.

Moreover, the Board of School Education Haryana has recently extended the validity for HTET certificate. Now, the HTET certificate will remain valid for 07 years from the declaration of the result. Earlier the validity for the HTET certificate was 05 years. This decision was passed to pacify the outburst of HTET 2012 candidates as there were no vacancies for that year and their HTET certificate was also about to expire.
