Board of Secondary Education, Haryana (HBSE) has announced class 10th result 2020. The board declared the result on July 10, 2020, after 8 PM. About 3.37 lakh students appeared for HBSE 10th class examination. However, since yesterday, the students are not able to check their result from the official website as it is not loading properly. On the official website, it shows ‘Error 502 Connection Timed out’.
Other than the official website, there are two different ways by which a student can check HBSE class 10th result 2020. First is by SMS and the other is by Google App. To get HBSE 10th result by SMS, students will need to type the following message on their mobile phone – RESULTHB10 (space) Roll Number and then send it to 56263. Once the message is sent, the result will be sent on the student’s registered mobile number.
Another easy way for the students to check Haryana board 10th result 2020 is from the Board’s mobile app which can be downloaded from the Google play store. To download the app from playstore, search for, “Board of school education Haryana”. Open the app and then click on the relevant link for checking class 10th result. After this, enter roll number in the provided space and then click on the ‘submit’ button. Once the roll number is submitted, the result will be displayed on the screen.
Once the login link becomes active on the official website, to check the result, select the course from the drop-down menu and then enter roll number. After this, click on the ‘submit’ button, the results will be displayed on the screen.
A total of 3,37,691 students appeared for HBSE 10th class examination 2020. A total number of 2,18,120 students passed the exam. The overall pass percentage is recorded as 64.59%. The pass percentage for girls is 69.86% whereas, the pass percentage for boys is 60.27%.
Rishita topped the exam with 500 marks. The second rank was shared by 5 students who secured 499 marks. The names of the students who secured the 2nd rank are Uma, Kalpana, Nikita Maruti Sawant, Sneh, Ankita.
This year, the result for HBSE Class 10th was delayed due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Earlier, during the wake of the Coronavirus pandemic, the class 10th exams were put on hold. But, later Haryana’s Chief Minister cancelled the class 10th exams due to the rising number of COVID-19 cases except for Science paper. He also announced that the 10th class result will be declared only once the Science paper is conducted, however, the results were declared much earlier than expected.
