Gujarat State Police Housing Corporation Limited is all set to conduct walk-in interviews to fill-up contractual vacancies for the post of Assistant Engineer (Civil). A total of 41 vacancies have been advertised at the official website i.e. gsphc.gujarat.gov.in. Applications in the prescribed proforma must be forwarded through post/courier or Google Form before the last date. The last date of receipt of applications is September 14, 2020, up to 06.00 PM. Selection of eligible candidates is to be done through Zoom Call on September 15 and 16, 2020 from 11.00 AM to 5.00 PM.
As per the official notification, the 41 vacancies are available in various divisions of the Gujarat State Police Housing Corporation Ltd. 02 vacancies are available at Gandhinagar, 10 at Surat, 07 at Vadodara, 07 at Ahmedabad, 06 at Junagadh, 07 at Rajkot and 02 at Mehsana in the state of Gujarat. Interested candidates can check the distribution of vacancies in the corresponding sub-divisions from the official recruitment notification available at the website. Selected candidates are to be paid monthly emoluments for a minimum amount of Rs 20000. However, all applicants must ensure that they comply with the minimum eligibility conditions before applying for the recruitment.
Applicants must have a Graduate Engineering degree in the trade of Civil Engineering from a University that is recognized under the UGC Act. In addition, applicants must have 3 years or more of relevant experience in the field of site supervision and work measurement in a construction project. The age limitations are also specified for applicants. As per the notification, the maximum age of the applicants cannot be more than 40 years as on August 31, 2020. On the other hand, applicants must be at least 25 years as on the aforementioned date in order to apply.
The selection of eligible applicants is to be done through online interviews as per the schedule specified above. The interviews are to be conducted by the Head Office of the Corporation on the specified dates through Zoom application. Post selection, candidates will be employed for a contractual period of 11 months only. The employment contract automatically ends with the completion of the contract period. Candidates cannot claim any permanent employment after the contract period of in future.
