Gujarat Public Service Commission has released the official answer key of the State Tax Inspector recruitment Prelims exam, held in March 2021. Earlier, GPSC released the provisional answer keys and now, the final answer keys are also available on the official website i.e. gpsc.gujarat.gov.in. Along with it, the question paper is also available.

The Preliminary exam was conducted for selection of eligible candidates to fill up vacancies for the post of State Tax Inspector (STI). 200 Multiple Choice type Questions were asked in the exam. The official answer key denotes the correct answer to all the questions asked in the exam.

Candidates have to click on the link given here to open and download the GPSC STI Answer Key 2021 PDF file. It indicates the correct answer in a question-wise table. Since there were four alternatives to choose from in each question of the GPSC STI 2021 question paper, the answer key denotes the correct answer in terms of the alphabet assigned to it. Thus, if alternative A is the correct answer, then beside the question number, candidates can find the alphabet displayed.
It may be noted that the Commission released the provisional answer key earlier in March after conducting the test. The Commission also received objections from candidates through the Online Objection Submission System. Candidates were allowed to submit their representations till March 16, 2021 after which the objection system was closed.
Now the Gujarat Public Service Commission has released the final answer key. The final answer key is developed after considering all valid objections. As such, no objection can be raised against the final answer key. Candidates can download the Provisional Answer Key with Question paper and the Final answer key from the official website gpsc.gujarat.gov.in. Candidates who have appeared in the test held earlier are now waiting for the release of the Prelims result so that qualifiers can appear in subsequent stages of selection. In the mean time, candidates can now utilise the final answer key to estimate the final score. For example, candidates know the answers that they have selected in the exam and now they also have the official answer key to help the candidate which answers are correct and which are incorrect. With the knowledge of the marking criteria, each correct and incorrect answer can be self-marked to estimate the final score.
