Gujarat Mineral Research & Industrial Consultancy Society (GMRICS) is inviting applications to fill up 20 vacancies on a contractual basis. Through the official website gmdcltd.com, GMRICS has published the advertisement for recruitment to the post of Junior Overman. Eligible and interested candidates are encouraged to apply for the recruitment on the prescribed proforma for application provided at the official website. The last date of receipt of applications is September 10, 2020.
As per the detailed recruitment notification published by GMRICS, the vacancies are available across various mines in the state of Gujarat. The 20 vacancies are to be filled up on a contractual basis for a period of 11 months only. During the contract period, candidates are entitled to receive a monthly consolidated pay of Rs 38000. However, apart from the monthly consolidated pay, candidates are not entitled to receive any other benefits or allowances. In addition, the posts being contractual in nature, appointed candidates cannot claim for permanent recruitment after the completion of the contract period.
Interested candidates must, however, ensure that they fulfil all the minimum eligibility conditions before applying for recruitment to the aforementioned posts. As per the published official recruitment notification, applicants must be within the maximum age of 45 years. In addition, one must have the specified minimum eligibility conditions in order to apply for the recruitment. Candidates must have the qualification of Overman/II Class Mine Manager Certificate of Competency. Such a qualification certificate must be awarded by DGMS, Dhanbad. It must be noted that the advertised posts are statutory in nature under the Coal Mines Regulation, 2017. As such, only those candidates who possess the aforementioned qualifications are eligible to apply for the recruitment. Those who have any other qualification are not eligible to apply.
Eligible applicants are to be shortlisted for appointment to the post of Junior Overman across various mines in Gujarat for the aforementioned contract period only. The contract period is not extendable. However, candidates must apply for the recruitment after carefully reading the recruitment notification and understanding all the terms and conditions of the recruitment.
