IIT Kharagpur is all set to conduct the GATE 2022 examination on February 05, 06, 12 and 13, 2022. The first day of the examination is going to be held for a total of four subjects, which are, Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Mathematics. Although, there were a lot of speculations regarding the cancellation of the examination is not postponed and shall be held on the pre-determined date.
GATE 2022 is an annual examination that is held to provide admission to courses such as M.Tech in leading IITs. Other than this, the scorecard is also relevant for getting jobs in leading PSBs and PSUs. The admit card for the examination is already released on the official website and candidates can check and download them.
GATE Exam Pattern
The examination is held online for a duration of 3 hours. There shall be two sections in the exam i.e. General Aptitude and Subject-specific. The first section will have 10 questions accounting for 15 marks whereas the second section shall have 55 questions for 85 marks. Candidates will get three types of questions in the exam mainly, multiple-choice questions (MCQ), multiple select questions (MSQ), and numerical answer type (NAT) questions. There is a separate marking scheme for all three types of questions.
