Indian Institute of Technology has launched online mock tests for registered candidates of GATE 2021 exam at the official website gate.iitb.ac.in. As the organizing institute of the upcoming Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) exam in 2021, IIT Bombay will conduct the Computer Based Test from February 05 to 07 and 12 to 14, 2020.
Registered candidates can access the GATE 2021 mock tests from the website of IIT Bombay by logging in with the registration number and password. The link to access the mock tests for all of the 27 papers of GATE 2021 are available now. Candidates who are waiting to appear in the exam must take these tests to get a first-hand idea of the CBT and practice for it in advance.

In order to access the GATE 2021 Mock Tests, candidates must at first go to the website gate.iitb.ac.in. There they will see the GATE 2021 Mock Test Links by scrolling down (see image above). By clicking on the link, candidates are redirected to all the links for the 27 papers. Here, one must click on the link for the corresponding paper they want to take the mock test for.
After clicking, the login page opens and candidates have to login by providing the login ID and password. Only after logging in can a candidate access the mock tests.

The GATE exam is conducted every year by one of the Indian Institutes of Technology. It is conducted for two main purposes. Firstly, the exam is conducted to test the comprehensive understanding of different Engineering and Science subjects at the Under Graduate level for admission to Master’s programs. Secondly, many Public Sector Institutes conduct recruitment on the basis of GATE score. As such, it is a highly competitive exam that requires months of preparation and practice to secure a good enough score.
Needless to say, the importance of GATE 2021 Mock Tests for candidates registered to appear in the exam in February 2021 is sky-high. The mock tests available at the official website i.e. gate.iitb.ac.in can only be accessed by registered candidates through candidate login. As such, registered candidates who wish to get a first-hand experience of giving the GATE exam must attempt these mock tests.

There is yet another important reason as to why candidates must attempt the GATE 2021 mock tests published by IIT Bombay. Compared to previous year GATE exam, subtle changes has been incorporated in GATE 2021. For example, the subjects of ES (Environmental Science and Engineering) and XH (Humanities and Social Sciences) in Economics / English / Linguistics / Philosophy / Psychology / Sociology have been incorporated for the first time this year. The syllabus of the subject papers of the exam have also been revised. There will be MCQ, MSQ and NAT type questions in GATE 2021 exam.
