GATE 2021 Correction Window Open Again – Know Last Date, What You Can Edit, Fees Details

IIT-Bombay has again opened the correction window for GATE 2021 Application Form from today i.e. November 17 to 23, 2020 for registered candidates to rectify certain mistakes in their exam application.

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay has again opened application form correction for GATE 2021. Registered candidates who want to edit details in the from can do so now, between November 17 to 23, 2020. IIT Bombay has been providing GATE correction facility in parts. This time, candidates can edit contact address, university / college name, degree nomenclature, name, and date of birth.

Th correction in address, institute and degree is free of cost. However, to edit the name and the date of birth, candidates need to pay correction fee of Rs. 500.

This is a one time facility, after this, no further corrections will be entertained by the authorities. To make the changes, candidates need to access GATE Online Application Processing System (GOAPS), by entering enrollment id and password. After logging in, the dashboard shall open containing the option to edit the required details. Candidates must pay the fees (if applicable), make the necessary changes and submit the application form to save the changes.

IIT-Bombay shall release the GATE 2021 Admit card on January 8, 2021. The exam admit card shall only be issued through the online mode and through any offline sources. To download the admit card, candidates must enter their enrolment ID/email address and password. After clicking on the ‘submit’ option, a new link shall open containing the admit card. Aspirants are advised to check all the details and instructions mentioned in the admit card and take a print-out of the same for future reference.

GATE 2021 Admit Card is an important document that must be present at the time of examination. The admit card contains important information like candidate details, exam date, examination centre, duration of the exam, reporting time and important instructions that must be followed during the exam. It is mandatory for each candidate to carry the exam admit card and a valid ID proof to the allotted examination centre.

GATE 2021 is a national-level entrance examination conducted for conducted for students who wish to pursue postgraduate courses in the field of engineering, technology and architecture. Through this exam, candidates can get admission in prestigious IITs and IISc in the country. The exam is scheduled to be conducted on February 5-7 and 12-14, 2020.
