The GATE 2019 Application Form correction window is opening from September 25, 2018, Tuesday. All those candidates who need to make some changes in the provided details will be sent the application form correction link by the GATE authorities over their application portal. Applicants will be notified about the same via registered email ID or contact number. With the help of this link, candidates will be able to edit the details in the stipulated period of time. Some of the dates have been mentioned tentatively yet some others will be announced later over the official website of the GATE.
Earlier the authorities had announced the form correction window will open from September 24, 2018. However this date now has been revised and the application form correction window for GATE 2019 will open from September 25, 2018.
In some case, a candidate will be given the option to edit the error in the GAE 2019 Application Form without any extra charge, whereas, in case of other details, a candidate will be required to pay an additional amount for changing the responses, as levied by the GATE authorities. This is the last opportunity provided to all the applicants. No requests will further be entertained by the authorities regarding making changes in the provided details or opening a correction window, all over again. all the corrections are to be made by logging into GOAPS.
Also, the closing date for filling the GATE 2019 application form was extended. It was made open till the last Sunday i.e September 23, 2018, up to 6 pm in the evening. Candidates who are still wanting to apply for this national level entrance examination can now apply with a late fee of Rs 500/- over the GOAPS website. After the GATE 2019 Application Form Correction window has closed, the authorities will be releasing the admit cards for the exam over their application portals. All the details printed on it will be considered to be the final ones, which should be true and totally error free.
So, without further ado candidates can start making the most of it via using the GATE 2019 application form correction window over the official website i.e appsgate.iitm.ac.in.
