Footwear Design and Development Institute (FDDI) has notified that the result for All India Selection Test (AIST) 2019 is going to be declared on June 06, 2019 at 4:00 PM. The candidates will be able to check their AIST 2019 result online at fddiindia.com. The entrance exam was conducted on May 26, 2019 in pen-paper mode.
To check the FDDI AIST 2019 Result, the candidates need to visit the official website. On the homepage of the website, the candidates need to click on the relevant link for checking the result. Next, the candidates have to log in by entering their email id and date of birth. Click on the “Submit” button and in the next screen, candidates can check their result for AIST 2019.
Candidates are offered admission to various UG and PG courses such as B.Des, MBA (Retail & Fashion Merchandise), BBA (Retail & Fashion Merchandise), etc. Note that the admission is done strictly on the basis of candidate’s merit in the entrance exam. The programme & campus will be allotted to the candidates on the basis of their rank and preference.
Qualifiers in the test are then eligible to participate for AIST 2019 counselling in the order of their rank based on the aggregate score in the All India Selection Test (AIST). As per the information provided on the website, the students will be called in the counseling in excess of the seats, therefore, there are possibilities that all the seats will be filled as per merit.
In the FDDI AIST Counselling, those who are allotted a seat have to pay an amount of Rs. 25,000/- at the time of counseling /admission to reserve the seat. This includes Rs 20,000/- Advance Fee to be adjusted against the balance fee + Rs 5,000/- (Non-Refundable) Counselling Charges.
FDDI AIST is held to offer admission to students in undergraduate designing programmes, such as Footwear Design & Production, Production and Management and Retail & Fashion Merchandise, Leather Goods and Accessories Design and Fashion Design. There are a total of 3075 number of seats at FDDI divided at its 12 campuses across the country.
