Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) is expected to release the admit card for Social Security Assistant (SSA) recruitment 2019 mains exam today, on October 25, 2019.
Today happens to be the predicted date for admit card download to start, because of EPFO recruitment past records. The most recent recruitment by EPFO, where a phase 2 / mains call letter was released was that for ASO.
For ASO recruitment, EPFO declared prelims result on October 15, 2019. Then issued admit card on October 18, 2019, for the mains exam scheduled to be held on November 7, 2019. Which makes the admit card release date 3 days after prelims result, and 20 days before mains exam.
EPFO SSA prelims result was declared on October 21, 2019, and the mains will be held on November 14, 2019. Today, October 25, 2019, is exactly 3 days after the prelims result and 20 days prior to mains. Therefore there are high chances that the admit card for mains will be released today.
Nevertheless, final decision on the matter, as to when to release the EPFO SSA mains admit card 2019, rests in the hands of the organization.
As and when the admit card releases, candidates will be able to download it from the official website, epfindia.gov.in. Both, to check whether admit card has been released or not, and to download it, candidates need to go to epfindia.gov.in, then click miscellaneous tab in menu, and click recruitment that falls under it.
On the recruitment page, all latest updates on EPFO recruitment 2019 are displayed. When the admit card releases, click the download call letter link, with which, an information handout will also be provided. Then to download call letter, you will have to login with either registration number or roll number, and password or date of birth.
A total of 22,229 candidates have been shortlisted from the many who appeared in prelims, to appear for the mains (for EPFO SSA 2019). Marks obtained in phase 2 mains will be considered while creating the final merit list, for selection. The mains exam will have an objective as well as subjective test. Both papers will be held in online mode, wherein the descriptive paper will be conducted just after the objective test.
The number of candidates to be shortlisted for phase 3 will be in the ratio 1:5, that is equal to five times the number of vacancies.
EPFO SSA recruitment 2019 is for a total of 2,189 vacancies. There are state-region vacancies as 60 for Andhra Pradesh region, 32 for Bihar region, 60 for Chhattisgarh region, 142 for Delhi region. Then there are 70 vacancies in Gujarat region, 20 in Goa region, 57 in Himachal Pradesh region, 231 in Haryana region. Also there are 182 vacancies in Karnataka region, 27 in Kerala and Lakshwadeep region, 545 in Maharashtra region. Then there are 55 vacancies in MP region, 32 in North East region, 56 in Odisha region, 6 in Punjab and Chandigarh region, 53 in Rajasthan region. And there are 151 vacancies in Telangana region, 57 in Uttarakhand region, 353 in Uttar Pradesh region.
