Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS) is recruiting eligible candidates for its ECHS Polyclinics under AOR of Station Headquarter Cell. The posts that are advertised are of Medical Specialist, Gynaecologist, Medical Officer, Dental Officer, Officer In Charge Polyclinic, Dental Hygienist/Assistant/Technician, Laboratory Technician, Laboratory Assistant, Nursing Assistant, Physiotherapist, Pharmacist, IT Network Technician, Data Entry Operator, Clerk, Driver, Chowkidar, Peon, Female Attendant and Safaiwala. ECHS has announced a total of 161 vacancies for all the advertised posts on contractual basis. The detailed notification is available on the official website, echs.gov.in. Interested candidates have to send their application form on or before the last date which is June 30, 2020.
The selection to the announced posts is done through the interview round. The interview schedule has already been released through the official notification. For the post of Officer In Charge Polyclinic, the interview is scheduled on July 10, 2020, followed by Medical Officer Interview on July 11, 2020, Dental Officer on July 13, 2020, Dental Hygienist and Radiographer on July 14, 2020, Pharmacist and Physiotherapist on July 15, 2020, Laboratory Technology and Lab Assistant on July 16, 2020, Nursing Assistant on July 17, 2020. Those who have applied for the post of Clerk, Data Entry Operator, IT Net-Tech have to appear for Computer Test on July 18, 2020, and then for the interview on 20 July 2020. The interview round for the post of Driver, Peon is on July 21, 2020, Chowkidaar interview on July 22, 2020, and Female Attendant and Safaiwala interview on July 23, 2020. Candidates have to appear at Station Sainik Institute, near State Bank India Cantt Branch, Danapur Cantt, Patna for the face to face interview session. The timings are between 09:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
The application for the announced posts is invited through the offline process only. Candidates should download the application form available on the official website, echs.gov.in. Applications along with the self-attested photocopies of the relevant documents should be sent to the Station Headquarter Cell, C/o Jharkhand & Bihar Sub Area Danapur Cantt, Patna – 801503. The application form should only be sent through Government post office.
In order to apply for Medical Specialist and Gynaecologist, candidates should MD/MS in the concerned speciality/DNB. Those who possess an MBBS degree can apply for the post of Medical Officer. For the post of Dental Officer, candidates must have BDS degree, a graduate of minimum 05 years can apply for Officer in Charge Polyclinic, a diploma holder in dental hygiene/DH/DORA Course are eligible for Dental Hygienist/Assistant, 10+2 qualification is required for Technician, B.Sc (Medical Lab Technology) or 10th pass/+2 pass with Science with Diploma in Medical Lab Technology for Laboratory Technician. A DMLT/Class-I Laboratory Tech Course is required for Laboratory Assistant, GNM Diploma/Class I Nursing Assistants Course or B.Sc Nursing for Nursing Assistant, Diploma/Physiotherapy Course for Physiotherapist, B.Pharm or 10+2 with science stream for Pharmacist, a diploma/certificate in IT for IT Network Technician. Grade/Class -I Clerical cadre for Data Entry Operator and Clerk post. Candidates must have passed 8th standard to apply for Chowkidar and Peon. A literate candidate is eligible for the announced post of Female Attendant and Safaiwala.
In addition to the educational qualification, candidates must also have the required work experience in the relevant field. 02-year work experience is required for an IT Network Technician. For the post of Medical Specialist, Gynaecologist, Medical Officer, Dental Officer, Laboratory Technician, candidates must have 03 years of work experience in their respective fields. Similarly, 05 years work experience is required for Officer In Charge Polyclinic, Dental Hygienist/Assistant/Technician, Laboratory Assistant, Nursing Assistant, Physiotherapist, Pharmacist, Data Entry Operator, Clerk, Driver, Chowkidar, Peon, Female Attendant and Safaiwala.
