Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India, is expected to release the admit cards soon for the DGMS Manager’s Examination 2021. The ministerial department is conducting the recruitment exam on behalf of the Directorate General of Mines Safety (DGMS). In fact, the department is conducting the recruitment exam on new exam dates. As per the new schedule, the selection test will be held from December 19 to 23, 2021. While admit cards are going to release soon, the exact date is not yet disclosed.
Labour and Employment Ministry invited applications for the post of manager from August 16 to October 19, 2021. Interested and eligible candidates had to register for the exam on the official website dgms.azurewebsites.net. Earlier, the exam was scheduled from December 12 to 16, 2021. However, the dates have now been shifted by a week to December 19 to 23, 2021. The reason for this has not been specified on the official website.
On the portal, the new exam dates have been specified. A public notice regarding the same has also been issued by the DGMS. However, even this notice does not specify any reasoning. It also specifies the exact managerial exams to be held on each date.
As per the notice, the DGMS Manager 2021 exams will begin with the first paper on First Class Manager’s Restricted (Metal)- Legislation in the forenoon shift and end on December 23, 2021, with Second Class Manager’s Un-Restricted (Coal)- Ventilation, again in the forenoon shift.
Additionally, DGMS will also be conducting the exam for several posts such as Mining Sirdar, Surveyor, Blaster, Overman, etc on December 27, 28 and 29, 2021. Admit cards for the same are going to release soon on the official portal.
To appear for the exam, registered candidates will have to download their admit cards from the official website dgms.azurewebsites.net. As of now, no link for admit card download has been activated on the website. Moreover, DGMS has not specified any particular date for admit card release. However, with just two weeks left for the exam, time is running out. Hence, it is expected that DGMS will be issuing admit cards to all registered candidates within this week itself.
Once issued, the link will be activated on the homepage of the website. Candidates need to click on the link and enter the required login credentials. These may include registration number, password, date of birth, etc. Candidates will also have to type in their security code before submitting the credentials.
On submitting the details, candidates will be able to access the DGMS Manager Exam 2021 admit cards. They are advised to download or print a copy of the document before time runs out.
