The Department of Training and Technical Education, Government of NCT, Delhi has published at its official website that the result for Delhi Common Entrance Test (CET) 2019 will release on June 22, 2019, at 4:00 PM. As per the information provided in the brochure, the Delhi CET Result 2019 was supposed to be out today at 4 PM. However, now it has been postponed and will be available for check online at cetdelhi.nic.in on June 22.
Furthermore, there has been confusion that whether the Delhi CET Result has been announced or not? It was found that there is another website of CET Delhi, which is, cetdelhi.nic.in/cetdelhi_candidate/HomePage.aspx. The result for CET 2019 has been published on this website, furthermore, a login has also been provided here. However, there was a whole different story on the official website of the exam, which is cetdelhi.nic.in. As per the information provided on the official website, the result was supposed to be out soon which now has been delayed.
To this confusion, some students commented that the result has not yet been declared as they were not able to login to the other website of CET Delhi. Hence, this concludes that CET Delhi Result 2019 is going to announced only at the exam website (cetdelhi.nic.in).
To check the result, the candidates need to visit the official website of the exam. On the homepage of the website, the candidates need to login by entering their CET roll number and application number. Submit the login details and then in the next screen, the candidates can check their result. Finally, download and take a print out of the CET 2019 result for future reference.
In order to be declared as qualified in the test, the candidates need to obtain minimum cut off marks as decided by the exam conducting body. For general category candidates, the minimum cut off is 10%, whereas, for SC/ST/OBC/PwD the cut off percentage is 05%.
The score for Delhi CET 2019 is calculated as per the marking scheme of the test. For every correct answer, 04 marks are added and also there is a negative marking, hence, for an incorrect answer, 01 marks are deducted.
After the declaration of Delhi CET 2019 Result, the qualifiers in the test are then eligible to appear for the Counselling. The Directorate of Training and Technical Education, Government of NCT conducts the Common Entrance Test (CET) Exam annually to screen students for admission to Polytechnic Colleges based in Delhi.
