Directorate of Elementary Education (DEE) Assam has announced 5043 vacancies for the recruitment of Teachers in the state. Aspirants who wish to build their future in teaching line can utilize this opportunity and submit their forms. The advertised vacancies are a big opportunity for Assam TET pass candidates. Out of the total 5043 vacancies, DEE Assam has advertised 1102 vacancies for Hindi Teacher and 3941 vacancies for Assistant Teacher, Science Teacher, Assamese Language Teacher and Manipuri Language Teacher.
The aforementioned posts are available under the Lower Primary Schools (LP Schools) and Upper Primary Schools (UP Schools). The post of Hindi Teacher, Assistant teacher with graduation, Assamese Language Teacher and Manipuri Langauge Teacher are announced under UP Schools and Assistant Teacher (12th pass) is announced under LP Schools.
Those who are interested in the Hindi Teacher recruitment must possess graduation degree with Hindi as one of the subjects. They must have passed 2 Year D.El.Ed or B.Ed. or D.Ed. Candidates with B. Sc degree with Science as one of the subjects and 02 years D.El.Ed, B. Ed. or D. Ed. (Special Education) or B. Ed can apply for Science Teacher. A graduation degree in Assamese language and 02 years D.El.Ed, B. Ed. or D. Ed. (Special Education) or B. Ed is required for Assamese Teacher. Those who possess graduation degree in Manupiari and 02-year D.El.Ed, B. Ed. or D. Ed. (Special Education) or B. Ed is eligible for Manipuri Teacher post.
To apply for Assistant Teacher in LP Schools, candidates should have passed 12th class and possess 2-year D.El.Ed or 4 years B.El.Ed. or 2-Year Diploma in Education. Those who have a graduation degree and 02 years D.El.Ed, B. Ed. or D. Ed in Special Education or B. Ed can apply for Assistant Teacher UP Schools.
The registration process for these posts is conducted through dee.assam.gov.in. Eligible candidates have to register themselves and then log in to submit the application form. While applying, they get the option to select district, the medium of school and category of post. As the vacancies are available only for Assam TET pass candidates, it is advised to keep the roll number, certificate and mark sheet of Assam TET ready before applying. On submitting the application form, a unique number is generated and should be kept safe for future reference.
