Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) has released the revised exam dates of the CUSAT Common Admission Test (CAT) 2021. As per latest updates, CUSAT CAT for admission to various UG, PG and Doctoral programs in 2021 will be held on July 16, 17 & 18, 2021. The entrance examination was earlier scheduled to be held in June 2021.
Cochin University postponed the CUSAT CAT exam earlier on account of the prevailing conditions of the COVID-19 pandemic in India. The exam was initially scheduled to be held on June 12, 13 & 14, 2021. However, the University postponed the exam through official notice and indicated that revised dates will be announced later. Now CUSAT has released the revised exam dates and the complete timetable of events on the official website cusat.ac.in.
While the exam will be conducted in July 2021, registrations are already over and the last date of issuance and receipt of applications for PhD, Diploma Programmes etc. from the Departments/Schools/Centres/Recognized Research Centres/ Institutions is June 15, 2021.
As per the updated CUSAT CAT 2021 timetable, on July 16, 2021, the exams for the M.Sc Forensic Science and Three Years LLB programs will be held from 10.00 AM to 12.00 PM. Aptitude test for LLM (IP) PhD and LLM (IPR) PhD will be held from 02.00 PM to 04.00 PM. Furthermore, from 02.00 PM to 05.00 PM, the tests in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics will be held for admission to B.Tech and 5 years Integrated M.Sc programs. In addition, the tests in Physics, Chemistry and Biology will be held for admission to 5 years Integrated M.Sc programs in denoted subjects will also be held from 02.00 PM to 04.30 PM.
On July 17, 2021, the tests for admission to Biotechnology, Botany, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry etc. and M.Voc in Technology & Management Consulting will be held from 09.00 AM to 11.00 AM. From 12.30 PM to 02.30 PM, the tests for admission to M.Sc in Econometrics & Financial Technology and Aptitude test for 5 years BBA LLB (Hons) and B.Com LLB (Hons) will be held. On the other hand, from 04.00 PM to 06.00 PM, the tests for admission to M.Sc Computer Science, MA Applied Economics and B.Voc programs will be held.
On the last day of the CUSAT CAT 2021 exam, i.e. on July 18, 2021, from 09.30 AM to 12.30 PM, the test in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics will be held for admission to B.Tech and other programs. Similarly, the tests in Physics, Chemistry and Biology will be held from 09.30 AM to 12.00 PM, for admission to 5-year Integrated M.Sc program in specified subjects.
Furthermore, on the last exam date, the test for MCA will be held from 09.30 AM to 11.30 AM. From 02.30 AM to 04.30 AM, the tests for admission to MA Hindi and M.Voc program in Mobile Phone Application Development will be held. In addition, from 02.30 PM to 05.30 PM, the tests in PCM will be held while from 02.30 PM to 05.00 PM, the test for PCB will be held. Tests for lateral entry to the B.Tech program will also be held on July 17, 2021, from 02.30 PM to 05.30 PM.
