Edit: Please note that officially the name of the exam is CPPNET 2021, which stands for Combined Paramedical, Pharmacy, Nursing Entrance Test. However candidates often refer to this exam as CPNET 2021.
Uttar Pradesh University of Medical Sciences (UPUMS) has today, December 06, 2021, released the online application form for the CPPNET 2021 exam. The Combined Paramedical, Pharmacy, and Nursing Entrance Test (CPPNET) 2021 exam is all set to be conducted on December 25, 2021, from 2 pm to 4 pm. Essentially, interested and eligible candidates only have time up to December 15, 2021, till 12:00 am, to complete the registration formalities. The application process is being held only through the online mode on the official website, upums.ac.in.
In addition to starting the application process, UPUMS has also released the information brochure on upums.ac.in. This brochure contains all the required information regarding the entrance exam. According to the brochure, the CPPNET 2021 registration process is being conducted from December 06 to 15, 2021. However, the admit card release date is yet to be announced.
CPPNET 2021: How to Apply
To register for the CPPNET 2021 exam, candidates have to follow the steps given below:
Step 1: Visit the official website of the state-level entrance exam i.e., upums.ac.in.
Step 2: On the homepage of the website, click on the “New User Registration Click Here” option. By doing so, a new page will open providing a list of instructions.
Step 3: Read through the instructions and click on the “Close” option to access the registration page. Add the required details such as name, father’s name, mother’s name, date of birth, marital status, mobile number, and email ID.
Step 4: Type in the security code and submit the details to register on the website. User ID and password will be sent via SMS or email to the registered number of email ID.
Step 5: Using these credentials, log in to the official portal and fill the application form. The form will ask for details such as personal information, education details, address details, etc.
Step 6: Upload the recent, passport-size photograph and signature in the format specified by UPUMS.
Step 7: Pay the required application fee and submit the form to successfully apply for CPPNET 2021.
Step 8: Take a printout of the confirmation page, fully-filled application form, or transaction ID for future reference.
The CPPNET 2021 will be held across the state in the conventional, pen-and-paper format on December 26, 2021, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. The exam will comprise of two papers – Paper I and Paper II. Paper I is meant only for Science students, while Paper II will be conducted Arts, Commerce and students of other streams. Candidates are required to follow all COVID protocols while appearing for the examination, and are required to report to the examination center between 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm.
