Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka conducts the COMEDK UGET for admission to B.E and B.Tech programs in across more than 120 participating institutions. While the official notification for COMEDK 2021 was already issued in February 2021, the Consortium has now indicated the exact dates for conducting various events related to the engineering entrance exam. With COMEDK 2021 registrations starting from March 22, 2021, eligible candidates will be able to register online at comedk.org. It may be noted that UNIGAUGE 2021, which is also conducted is for admission to B.E/B.Tech programs in across more than 20 participating institutions, is scheduled to be held on the same date as COMEDK 2021.

Candidates intending to apply for the exams can do so as per schedule by paying a fee of Rs 1600 for COMEDK only or Rs 2600 for both COMEDK 2021 and UNIGAUGE 2021. The last date of making online payments and submission of the filled up application form is May 20, 2021. Once the COMEDK 2021 registration & form fill-up process is over, candidates will be able to edit certain fields on the application form between May 22 to 24, 2021 (both dates inclusive).

Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka releases the admit card for registered candidates through the official website before the exam. As per the official schedule, registered candidates will be able to download the admit card starting from June 10, 2021 only. With the exam scheduled to be held on June 20, 2021, candidates will be able to download the admit card till upto one day before the exam date i.e. June 19, 2021.

On June 20, 2021, both the COMEDK 2021 and UNIGAUGE 2021 exams are to be held. The examinations are scheduled to be held in two shifts with the first shift starting from 09.00 AM and ending at 12.00 PM. Similarly, the second shift exam starts from 02.00 PM in the afternoon and concludes at 05.00 PM in the evening.

COMEDK 2021 Answer Keys will be released on June 24, 2021 through the official website. The release of the provisional answer key also marks the start of receiving objections against the answer key. Candidates who take the test will be able to raise objections against the provisional answer key till June 26, 2021. Thereafter, the Consortium will not receive any new objections. The COMEDK 2021 Final Answer Key is set to release on July 01, 2021. The Consortium is set to release the test score cards online on July 06, 2021 i.e. five days after the release of the final answer key.

The COMEDK and UNIGAUGE exams are important engineering entrance examinations for admission to B.E and B.Tech courses at the Undergraduate level. The list of participating institutions accepting the scores of these two entrance tests for engineering admissions can be found at the respective official websites.

Reportedly, more than two lakh registrations have been submitted this year for the COMEDK 2021 exam. Pursuing a career in Engineering is one of the most popular goals of young Indian students. With various Universities across the country offering such programs, every University conventionally conducts their own internal entrance test or acknowledges the score of a state/national level entrance exam for the purpose of admission. The Joint Entrance Exam (Main) 2021 was recently concluded on March 18, 2021. It is one of the few most important national level exams conducted for admission to engineering, architecture and planning programs at the Undergraduate Level and many institutes who do not conduct their own internal admission test accept the score of JEE Main for engineering admissions.
