Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) has ended the Under Graduate Entrance Test (UGET) 2021 editing facility today, August 07, 2021 at 5:00 pm. Candidates were given time from August 05, 2021, 11:00 pm till August 07, 2021, to make changes in their test city preference, academic details and photo upload. Registered candidates could make the required rectifications in their application form on the official website comedk.org. But now that the editing facility has ended, students are waiting for the Test Admission Tickets (TAT) to come out. As per previous trends, admit cards are likely to release on September 06, 2021.
COMEDK authorities have not updated the UGET 2021 TAT release date. While the official website comedk.org shows the exam date to be September 14, 2021, the words “Will be updated soon” are displayed next to release of admit cards. However, students can refer to past-year trends for predicting a tentative date on which admit cards will be released on the official website.
Last year, the consortium was scheduled to conduct the UGET 2020 examination on August 19, 2020. Admit cards for the exam were released on the official website 8 days before i.e., on August 11, 2020. Similarly, in 2019, the state-level entrance exam was held on May 12, 2019. Registered candidates could download their admit cards from May 03 to 11, 2019. In this case, admit cards were released 9 days prior to the conduction of exam.
A similar trend was observed in 2018 when the COMEDK authorities conducted the UGET examination on May 13, 2018. Admit cards or TATs for registered candidates were released on May 05, 2018. Candidates could download their admit cards from the official website comedk.org latest by May 12, 2018. Here again, there was an 8-day gap between the consecutive events.
Keeping these trends in mind, candidates can expect their UGET 2021 admit cards to release 8 days prior i.e., on September 06, 2021. Moreover, aspirants will be permitted to download their admit cards from the official portal latest by September 13, 2021. Therefore, they are advised to download or print their admit cards as soon as possible rather than waiting till the end moment.
Once released, candidates can download their UGET 2021 admit cards from the official website by clicking on the admit card download link. This link will be available on the homepage itself. By clicking the link, a login window will open in which aspirants must enter their Application Number/user ID and password. Thereafter, candidates must submit these details to access their admit cards. It is advised to download and take a printout of the admit cards as soon as they are released.
