The Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka will issue the COMEDK 2019 Rank card today i.e. May 27, 2019, at 3 PM under the candidates’ login at comedk.org. The exam of COMEDK was held on May 12, 2019. The rank card will be available in the online mode only.
To check the COMEDK 2019 rank card the candidates have to use their COMEDK 2019 Login Id and Password. The candidates have to download their rank card for counselling and the admission rounds. Noe that the rank card is not sent to the candidates on their email id or the phones. Candidates are thus advised to check their scores of the exam via the COMEDK 2091 Rank Card online on the website under their login.
The Rank card of the candidates will have their COMEDK 2019 Rank and the score of the COMEDK 2019 exam. The candidates are allotted the rank of the basis of their overall score in the exam and which in turn is used by the participating institutes to offer admission to the candidates via the counselling process.
The ranking in COMEDK 2019 is decided based on their scores. However, in case 2 or more candidates get the same score, the tie-breaking is done. To break the tie, the candidates are first compared for the number of wrong answers provided in Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry sections. Then they are compared for the higher aggregate marks in Physics and Mathematics in the Entrance Exam. Then the candidates with higher marks in Maths section is considered. Of the tie is still there then the candidates’ age is taken into consideration that is the elder candidate is given preference.
After the result, the candidates will be made aware of the counselling process and dates via the counselling document that will be uploaded at comedk.org. The counselling document will be available from June 15, 2019. the counselling will be a centralized process. Via the counselling document, the candidates will be also made aware of the seat matrix, Fee matrix, etc.
COMEDK UGET is a state level entrance exam and is held for admission in B.E courses, offered by the participating institutes. The consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) conducts Under Graduate Entrance Test every year for admission in 197 institutes that offer B.E. courses.
