COMEDK 2019 Application Form Starts From 16 Jan; CBT Based Exam On 12 May

COMEDK 2019 Application Form will be available from January 16, 2019. The exam will be held on May 12, 2019. The application form will be released online at comedk.org and the candidates have to submit the application form in the online mode itself.

Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka conducts the COMEDK 2019 exam. This year the application fee to apply for COMEDK 2019 is Rs. 1500/-. To apply for both COMEDK 2019 and Uni-GAUGE 2019 the candiadtes have to pay Rs. 2400/-.

The mode of payment of the application fee is online only. The application process is to be completed in 15 steps. The initial steps are to register using a valid email id and phone number. Thereafter the candidates need to log in using the login id and password generated. Then the candidates need to complete the application form, upload photograph, and signature and submit the application form by making online payment.

The last date of apply for COMEDK 2019 is April 19, 2019. Thereafter the application form correction window will also open from April 20, 2019. On January 13, 2019 the COMEDK 2019 information brochure was released wherein all the important dates of COMEDK 2019 was announced.

Candidates who are 10+2 qualified with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics with English as a compulsory subject are eligible to apply for COMEDK 2019. However, the candidates must have secured a minimum percentage of 45% marks, 40% in respect of SC, ST and OBC candidates of Karnataka State in 10+2 to be eligible for COMEDK 2019.

COMEDK 2019 will be a Computer Based Test (CBT). The exam pattern is such that the exam will be of 3 hours duration – 10 AM to 1 PM. There will be 180 questions, 60each in Physics, Chemistry and Maths. There is no negative marking and each correct answer has 1 mark.

The entrance test is based on the existing syllabus of 10 + 2 / 11th &12th STD / 1st & 2nd PUC.

COMEDK is also responsible to conduct the counselling for admission based on COMEDK UGET 2019 scores. COMEDK since its inception in 2004-05 has been conducting the annual entrance exam for Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses in the member institutions. However, for admission in medical colleges, candidates have to qualify the NEET exam.

COMEDK 2019 is to be conducted across 300 centers for the Engineering programs which offer around 20000 seats. There will be an offline counselling to allot seats to the students who will qualify the COMEDK 2019 exam.
