National Testing Agency has declared the Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) 2019 Result on the official website of NTA. Candidates who have appeared for the computer-based examination on January 28 & 29, 2019 can download the CMAT scorecard from ntacmat.nic.in. Test takers can access the result using the application number with password or date of birth. The result is available in PDF format and contains the sectional & overall scores.
The exam conducting body has announced the result early from the scheduled date. Previously, it was expected the result would declare on February 08, 2019. So, with the early announcement of the result, candidates can now target the CMAT accepting B-schools as per their percentile. The application form of most of the management institutes is still available. For the admission to B-schools in Maharashtra, candidates must attend the counselling round conducted by DTE Maharashtra.
With the availability of the scorecard, NTA also releases the final answer key for CMAT 2019. After considering all the objection raised by candidates in the challenge window, the exam body publishes the final key. On the basis of this key only, the candidates’ scorecard has been published. Now, NTA will not accept any communication regarding discrepancies in the result or scorecard. Also, there is no provision for the re-checking or re-evaluation of the scorecard.
Importantly, NTA has no role in the admission process of the CMAT accepting colleges. Candidates who wish to apply CMAT 2019 scores need to apply separately at their desired institutes. Further, these colleges will release the cut-off on their official website or will directly intimate the registered candidates for the next round of selection process. These rounds may include Group discussion, Personal Interview, or Written Ability Test. On the basis of candidates performance in these rounds, final selection for the academic year 2019-21 will take place.

Some of the top-colleges that accept CMAT scores are JBIMS, SIMSREE, GOA Institute of Management, Dept. Of Mgmt Sciences, University of Pune, PUMBA, KJ Somaiya etc. In order to apply to these colleges, candidates must visit their official website to know the complete admission process.
This year, CMAT was conducted by NTA in two slots. The exam conducted smoothly and for the surprise, the exam was easy as compared to the previous year. Candidates could easily able to maximize their attempts. The exam as divided into four sections with 100 questions in total. In the test, there was also negative marking of 1 marks for each incorrect answers.
After the CMAT 2019 Result, candidates can still apply for MBA CET 2019, AP ICET 2019, AMU MBA 2019, TS ICET 2019 etc.
