It is expected that the CMAT answer key will publish sooner by February 01, 2019. Candidates will able to check the exam key at ntacmat.nic.in using the application number and password. Looking at the trends of the other exam conducted by NTA, the answer key releases exactly three days after the exam. The CMAT concluded on January 29, 2019, so there are high chances that the answer key shall release on 01 February.
This year, CMAT 2019 EXAM had easy to medium difficulty. candidates could easily able to maximize their attempt with 90-95% accuracy.
Although there are many unofficial websites who have already released the CMAT 2019 answer key. Candidates must rely on the official answer key to cross-verify the marked responses. Apart from the answer key, NTA also releases the question paper and recorded response sheet of the candidate.
The exam conducting body releases the candidates’ response sheet and question paper in one link. In another link, it publishes answer key along with objection raising window. The window to challenge the answer key opens for 4 days only. In order to raise the objections, it is essential to submit the proof and the objection fee. NTA will refund the fee in case of valid doubts.
After the analysis of all the objections, NTA will release the final answer key. It will publish either in 3-4 days or along with the CMAT Result. As per the notification, the exam result shall release latest by February 08, 2019. The result will consist of scores and percentile in each section of the exam. As NTA plays no role in the admission process of CMAT accepting colleges, it depends on the b-schools if they are considering only overall percentile or sectional & overall both.
Looking at the difficulty level of the exam this year, cut-off will spike for academic session 2019-21. Once the result is out, b-schools will call students for the next rounds like group discussion, personal interview etc. In order to participate in the selection process, candidates must have filled the application form for the CMAT accepting institutes. Some of the well-known colleges are SIMSREE, VIT, BIMTECH, KJ Somaiya etc. Candidates must visit their official website to know about the complete admission process.
