Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education is going to release the Class 10 Board results 2021 today. CGBSE confirmed in a press release earlier that the CGBSE 10th result 2021 will be announced today i.e. on May 19, 2021 at 11 AM. As per reports, the result is going to be announced through video conferencing. Furthermore, candidates will be able to check the result once declared through the official website i.e. cgbse.nic.in.
Earlier, on account of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic situation in the country, the Board cancelled the Class 10th final exams and decided to determine the merit of concerned candidates on the basis of other criteria. As per the new evaluation criteria, the CGBSE Class 10th result 2021 is to be decided on the basis of Internal Assessments. However, those who failed to appear for projects and practical exams during the year will be awarded the minimum qualifying marks.
Since, the result is to be declared on or after 11 AM today i.e. on May 19, 2021, candidates are advised to remain vigilant on the official website in order to check their Class 10th result 2021. For checking the result, candidates will need to enter their roll number, date of birth, security code correctly on the website.
Upon visiting the official website of the Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education, candidates have to click on the Result tab and they are redirected to the result checking page. On this page, candidates have to enter the requisite details to open and check their result in the Class 10 Board exams 2021 of the CGBSE.
As per reports, since the result is prepared on the basis of merit in Internal Assessments during the year, candidates will be awarded a maximum marks of 72 out of 75 in every theory subject. On the other hand, for the theory exam of additional subjects, candidates will be awarded a maximum of 29 marks out of 30. For practical exams, a maximum of 68 marks out of 70 will be valid this year for Class 10th Result 2021.
It may be noted that the CGBSE is not the only state education board to have cancelled/postponed final exams and adopted alternative evaluation methods for determining the results this year. As per reports, more than 4 lakh candidates were registered to appear in the Class 10 board exams of the CGBSE in 2021. However, the exam was suspended on account of the prevailing conditions of the COVID-19 crisis. Central Board (CBSE) has also followed a similar direction in determining results. They have adopted the objective criterion and schools have been requested to submit relevant student information.
