Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay has announced result for Common Entrance Examination for Design (CEED) 2021. The result has been declared today, on March 8, 2021, at ceed.iitb.ac.in. Through the result, candidates can check their score and rank in the exam. Also, the scorecard of the exam has been issued only to those candidates only who have passed the exam.
To pass the CEED exam the minimum marks needed are 27.30 marks for the open category candidates, 24.57 marks for the candidates of the OBC-NCL / EWS quota, and 13.65 marks for the SC / ST / PWD candidates.
To check the result candidates have to visit the official website, ceed.iitb.ac.in. On the home page candidates can check the update saying “CEED 2021 Results are now available to view at Candidate portal after log-in. Read CEED 2021 Results Instructions to understand the scorecard.” Click on the link for the candidates portal there and login with registered email ID and password. Under the login candidates can check their results. If a candidate has passed the exam by scoring more than the required minimum marks then such candidates can also download their CEED 2021 scorecard.
In the scorecard candidates can check their photo, signature, name, roll number, number of candidates appeared, number of candidates passed, the table for qualifying marks, score in PART A & B, overall CEED score, rank, and important notes.
The score is calculated as 0.25 x (Part A marks) + 0.75 x (Part B marks). The scorecard of CEED 2021 will remain valid till March 7, 2022.
Candidates who qualify CEED 2021 become eligible for admission to M.Des and PhD programs in different colleges. However, note that qualifying CEED 2021 does not guarantee admission. One has to apply to college they are interested in and take part in the individual admission process of that college. In some colleges, there will be further entrance exams, interviews by their design departments. The participating institutes of CEED 2021 are IIT B, IITD, IISc, IIT G, IIT Hyd, IIT K, IIITDM Jabalpur.
CEED 2021 was held on January 7, 2021. The exam was held in computer based test mode.
