On January 30, 2019, CBSE has released the admit card for the regular candidates. For the year 2019 admit card of class 10 and 12 students, has updated information. Central Board of Secondary Education ( CBSE) released a circular for the same on its official website- cbse.nic.in. According to this, the admit card for the academic year 2018-19 consists of the roll number, date of birth (only for class 10th), the name of the examination, candidate’s name, mother’s name, father/ guardian’s name, the name of the examination centre, category of PwD, exemptions provided, admit card id and the subjects in which appearing with the date of examination.
As per the reports, this year CBSE has updated that information too which were earlier sent to the respective schools only. But this year the board has also mentioned on the admit card what exemptions will be provided during the board exams. The exemptions are ‘SEALP’ which means S- Scribe, E- Extra Time, A- Assistive Device, L- Large Font, A- Adult Prompter.
All the CBSE affiliated schools are directed to download the admit card of all the desired students by visiting its official website. Regular students of class 10th and 12th from CBSE board will receive their admit cards from their respective schools. CBSE board examinations are going to commence from February 15, 2019. So, keeping in mind the time period board has activated the link to download the admit card online. Students and parents are highly advised to check all the details printed on the admit card very carefully. Any discrepancy in the details may result in the cancellation of the board exams.
As per the notice, the board has also requested the schools to guide the students what they have to carry on the day of examination. To the respective examination centre, all the students must go in the school uniform along with the school identity card and the admit card issued by CBSE. Apart from this carry all the required stationery items along with you.
Note that the latecomers will not be entertained at the centre. No student will be allowed to enter inside the examination centre after 10:00 am. So, students reach at your respective exam centre before time. Last minute rush might affect your exam day.
Few weeks before CBSE has also released the admit card for the private candidates at the login. After this, the board has released the notice for the regular candidates. CBSE class 10 and 12 board exams are about to begin in a month. So, start your revision and get your admit card now.
