National Testing Agency (NTA) has declared the JEE Main 2019 Paper 2 Result at nta.ac.in. The result has been declared around midnight as we had mentioned in our other report. The Result is available under the candidate’s login. As per the press release on the result declaration, 2 students have scored a perfect 100 percentile – Gollapudi N Lakshmi Narayana and Gudla Raghunandan Reddy, both from Andhra Pradesh.
The result of paper 2 contain the overall NTA score and the percentile scores in each 3 section – Mathematics, Aptitude and Drawing. To check the result the candidates need to login in using their application number date of birth. On doing so the result appears on the screen an the candidates can take the print out of the same.
The paper 2 result contains these information: Candidate’s Name, Father’s Name, Roll number, Section wise percentile score (NTA Score), and Overall percentile score (NTA Score).
National Testing Agency has declared the NTA scores (percentile scores) as the paper 2 of JEE Main 2019 was held in 2 shifts on January 08, 2019. The NTA Score indicates the percentage of candidates that have scored equal to or less than that particular Percentile in that session.
The formula that is used to calculate the percentile score is: 100 X Total number of candidates who have appeared in the “session” with the raw score equal to less than the candidate’s) ÷ Total number of the candidates appeared in the ‟Session‟.
Based on the percentile score, the AIR will be prepared after the JEE Main 2019 April Exam. The best score out of both the NTA score in January and April exam will be considered while making the final AIR.
In the paper 2 a total of 1,80,052 had registered and 1,45,386 students had appeared for the exam. The result have been declared for all these candidates.
As in paper 2, 02 candidtes have scores a perfect 100 percentile, in paper 1 there were 15 candidates who had scored a 100 percentile. The paper 1 result were declared earlier on January 19, 2019.
