There is an unusual delay in declaring the CBSE CTET result 2021-2022. So far, the Board has not posted any official update regarding the matter. This has led to frustration among the candidates who have reached out via their Twitter profiles to voice their concerns. Reportedly, the results were supposed to be released last week but that has clearly not been the case. As of now, it is being reported that the results will be announced by this week of February, 2022.

CTET 2021 Results Delayed

According to experts, the Board is currently facing a lot of issues over the declaration of the results. Until these problems are resolved, it is unlikely that the results will be announced soon. Let’s take a look at what these issues are.

1. Normalisation – The normalization process is underway due to which there is being some delay. As per sources, this is the reply that the helpline numbers are giving when asked about the result date. This time, CBSE has adopted a normalization scheme to formulate the scores of the candidates since the exam was held over multiple shifts.

2. Errors in answer key – Reportedly, the provisional answer keys that were released by the Board had incorrect answers. The options for Hindi and English were not correct, translation was wrong, misplaced digits and the like. It could be possible that a revised answer key is being prepared based on which the final results will be declared.

3. Administrative Shuffle – A few days back, IAS Vineet Joshi was appointed the new chairman of CBSE. It is now being reported that due to administrative changes within the department, a delay is now being seen in the case of the CBSE CTET result 2021-2022.

Twitter Unrest

Despite everything, candidates have been continuing with their tweets under the hashtags #ctetresults, #ctet2021. They have also been tagging the concerned officials of the Board along with the Education Minister. The delay in announcing the results can have a negative impact on the candidates’ future.

CBSE CTET Result 2021-2022

Since it is being reported that the results will be announced by this week, candidates are advised to be patient and keep an eye on the official website – ctet.nic.in. As and when the result link is activated, one can check the same using the required login credentials. CBSE has not provided any fixed date yet and hence one should keep an eye on the official website time and again. Candidates qualifying for the examination will be issued mark sheets and certificates that have to be downloaded from DigiLocker.
