Some of the important topics that come in CAT each year are as follows:

Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR): Blood Relations, Puzzles, Data Sufficiency, Graphs Related, Seating Arrangement, and Data Arrangement, Tables and Caselets, Clocks & Calendars, Assumption & Binary Logic, and Syllogisms and Venn Diagrams.

Although every year the exam pattern of CAT remains the same with slight changes in the number of questions asked in each of the 3 sections of VARC, DILR, and QA, this year some more changes have been made.

CAT 2020 exam will be held in 3 shifts instead of 2 and the time duration of the exam has been reduced from 3 hours to 2 hours. Every 3 sections of the exam will have a 40 minutes time cap. After 40 minutes the systems shall automatically move to the next section.

Until last year the total number of questions asked in the exam was 100, however this year the number of questions might be reduced as the time limit has been deducted by 1 hour.

The Common Admission Test (CAT) 2020 is one of the most popular MBA entrance exams in India. This exam is the only gateway for the candidates to take admission in the MBA courses offered by the Indian Institute of Management (IIMs) across the nation.
