CAT 2018 is finally arriving tomorrow on November 25, 2018. Test aspirants have worked hard for the last few months. So this is a high time to spare at least 10 minutes to know the exam instructions. As any negligence may create a problem on the exam day. Candidates who haven’t read the rules yet can watch the exam day important instructions video released by IIM Calcutta.
The video guides students the complete process from downloading the admit card to leaving the exam hall. It is highly advisable that candidates who haven’t downloaded the CAT 2018 Admit Card yet must do it without any delay. There are still many candidates who are downloading hall ticket late and finding mistakes in it. In case, there is an issue in admit card, students can contact at CAT helpline today only before 06:00 P.M.
In the video, students will able to see a step-by-step procedure that will take place on CAT exam day. First of all, candidates have to check the notice board and locate the lab number using the reference number mentioned on admit card. Then, before entering the test premise, candidates have to leave outside any prohibited items. Following that strict frisking will take place using the metal detectors. Candidates carrying any prohibited items must show the authorization form issued by exam centre. Also, carry medical certificate if having a problem or metal implants.

Further, document verification will take place which includes admit card and identity proof. If applicable, candidates must also carry PwD or scribe certificate with them. Apart from these items, do not carry any other items inside the exam hall. Also, remove the footwear outside the exam hall. Once, candidates have taken the entry, then they will not be allowed to leave the exam hall before the test ends. So, take bio-breaks in prior and do not ask for the same during the exam. Only in a medical emergency, staff will allow taking the bio-breaks.

Importantly, do not waste scribe pad on the exam day as candidates will get only once. After the completion of the exam, submit the admit card and scribe pad to the invigilator. Take the exit only after the proper instructions. Last but not least, do not share the actual exam details via any mode after leaving the test premises.
