The IIM Calcutta has released the CAT 2018 Hall Ticket for the registered candidates. The applicants can download their admit card through online mode at iimcat.ac.in. The exam conducting body will not send the printed hall ticket for CAT 2018 to the candidates through post/ courier. It is advised to the candidates to keep calm as the sudden rush for downloading the hall ticket may put overload the website and it may take time to load. However, the candidates are advised to be patient and try later if they are not able to access their account at present.
To download the CAT 2018 Hall Ticket, the candidates should visit the official website. Then on the homepage, click on the link which says, “Download Admit Card”. A Candidate Login page will appear on the screen, in which the applicants need to enter details like their User ID and Password. Click on the “Login” button to submit the details. On submitting the correct login credentials, the CAT Hall Ticket will be available on the screen. Download and take its print out.
The candidates should take a color print out of the hall ticket on an A4 size paper using the laser printer. Also, remember that the hall ticket is an important identification document which will be required not only at the time of examination but also during the admission process at any college. Hence, you must take at least 2-3 print out of the admit card in case if one goes missing, as NO duplicate admit card is also issued.
The facility for downloading the CAT Hall Ticket is open till November 25, 2018. Candidates, however, are requested to download the admit card at the earliest since it would contain their examination center details. Though the exam cities were released earlier but the exact center details and the examination center would be allotted to the candidates as per the admit card. | CAT 2018 Preparation in 01 month
The exam conducting body has specified this very clearly that no request for a change in the examination center would be entertained. Hence, candidates are accordingly requested to download their CAT 2018 Admit Card and make necessary travel arrangements – if required. Furthermore, candidates are required to report at the examination center at the appointed time. Delay due to delay in trains or traffic would not be entertained. Hence, it is advisable that if you are required to travel to another city, you should aim at reaching the city on November 24, i.e. a day before the test and ensure that the center is readily accessible on the day of the examination.
On the day of the examination, the candidates will have to carry a print out of the CAT 2018 Hall Ticket and a valid id proof such as college ID, employer ID, driving license, passport, PAN card, voter ID, aadhaar card, identification affidavit.
