Indian Institute of Management has released the CAT 2018 Admit Card at iimcat.ac.in. The hall ticket has been issued at the scheduled timeline without any delay. Candidates who have registered for CAT 2018 can download the admit card for the exam to be held on November 25, 2018.
It is advisable that aspirants visit the official website to download the admit card. Therein, click on the login link and use the CAT 2018 registration number and password to access the student dashboard. On the top right-hand side click on “Admit Card” and download it for the test day.
Candidates who have successfully submitted the application form and fee will only able to download the admit card. Still, if candidates facing trouble in downloading the hall ticket then they can contact at CAT helpline at [email protected]. Even in case of an error or misprint, inform the concerned authorities immediately.
Since the CAT admit card is the computer-generated document, there are minimal chances of an error unless candidates have made the mistake in the registration form themselves.
On the CAT Admit Card, candidates will find the basic personal details like Name, date of birth, category, gender etc. Additionally, it consists of important details like test day, date, time, city, centre, session, and test system number. The test system number will help the candidates to locate the system on the exam day.
The CAT examination will take place in two sessions in a single day. Candidates can find the session written on their admit card and no request to change the session or test venue will be entertained. Test takers for the morning session must reach before 7:30 AM and 1:00 PM for the afternoon session.
On the exam day, candidates have to carry the CAT admit card and photo identity proof with them. Additionally, it is necessary to affix the passport size photograph in the form. It must be same as uploaded by students in the registration form. Also, stationery items like rough pad and pen will be provided the by the invigilator. All the items like microphones, pager, health band, watch, mobile phones, earphones etc are debarred in the exam hall. Even closed shoes, metal jewelry is not allowed.
All the candidates are advised to read the important instructions written on the admit card. Violation of any rule may lead to the cancellation of the exam. Thus, carry all the documents and follow all the rules as specified by the exam conducting body.
Since only one month left for the exam, candidates can utilize this period fruitfully by taking mocks and revising the concepts. In the few days left, do not let self-doubt hamper your performance. Practice with a cool mind and keep taking good quality mock tests to know the type of questions that can appear in the exam.
