Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced CA Final Result 2018 on the official websites at icaiexam.icai.org, caresults.icai.org, and icai.nic.in. Candidates can also check the exam result at registered email or mobile number. Candidates visiting the official website to check the CA Final Result need to enter the exam Roll Number and Registration Number/Pin Number. The exam for CA Final 2018 took place on November 01, 03, 05, 09, 11, 13, 15 and 17, 2018.
Candidates who have registered for the email-service will get the result on the email id. In order to view the results vis-a-vis SMS, candidates need to send the message in order to access the results by SMS. As a first step, open a message application on your mobile phone. For Final Examination (Old Course) type CAFNLOLD (space) XXXXXX (Where XXXXXX is the six digit Final examination roll number of the candidate), e.g. CAFNLOLD 000128.
For Final Examination (New Course) type CAFNLNEW (space)XXXXXX (Where XXXXXX is the six digit Final examination roll number of the candidate), e.g. CAFNLNEW 000128. After typing all these things, send the message to 58888. The SMS service is provided by India Times and available to all mobile services.
After the declaration of result, ICAI will also publish the Merit List of the top 50 rank holders in CA Final 2018 Examination. The Merit List will be published on the official website only. Candidates can enter their Roll Number/Registration Number and Captcha Text in order to download the Merit List.
ICAI also issues the Statement of Marks via post to candidates within 4-5 weeks after the declaration of result. ICAI also give the Pass Certificate to only those students who have passed both the groups of CA Final Examination.
If a candidate is not satisfied with his / her result, then he/she can apply for the verification of marks or verification of answer books. Candidates can apply for the verification of answer books at icaiexam.icai.org. The candidates are required to pay the fee for the verification via an online payment gateway. Candidates can log in using their User ID and Password and they are required to upload the scanned copy of their handwritten request.
Ways to retrieve Registration Number, PIN Number and Roll Number
If candidates have forgotten their Registration Number they can contact the regional offices of the governing authorities and be ready with the credentials that they used to register with ICAI. If candidates have forgotten their Roll Number then, they can use the admit card to see your roll number on it. To retrieve the pin number, contact 0120-3054851, 0120-3054852, 0120-3054853, 0120-3054835, the representatives will ask for the registration number and provide the pin.
