The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced the result for CA CPT and Foundation Result 2018 today at 6 PM. The candidates can check their result for the exam held on November 11, 13, 15 and 17, 2018 for CA Foundation and December 16, 2018, for CA CPT. The Institute provides three facilities by which the candidates can check their CA CPT and Foundation result. First is by registering online and getting the result through email, second is by SMS, and thirdly through Login.
To get the ICAI CA Foundation and CPT Result by email, the candidates had to register online at icaiexam.icai.org. On the homepage of the website, the applicants then have to click on the “Login” tab. Now, enter your Login ID and Password and click on the “Login” button to submit the details. On submitting the login details, a link for Email Registration will be available on the screen. Then in the next screen, the candidates have to enter their Name, Roll Number, E-mail id. Lastly, click on the ‘Register Me’ button to submit and you will successfully register for receiving CA Foundation result 2018.
Another way to get the CA Foundation and CPT result is through SMS. To get the CA Foundation Result, the candidates need to CAFND (Space)XXXXXX (where XXXXXX is the six digit Foundation Examination roll number of the candidate), whereas, to get the CA CPT Dec 2018 result, the candidates have to type CACPT(Space)XXXXXX (where XXXXXX is the six digit CPT roll number of the candidate). Then, send the message on 58888.
The last method by which a candidate can check their result is through the Login. Visit the official website of ICAI at icaiexam.icai.org or caresults.icai.org or icai.nic.in. Click on the exam for which you want to check result for. Next, on the login page provide your Roll Number and Pin Number/ Registration Number. Click on “Check Result” button and the result will be available on the screen.
Along with the result, the Institute will also release the CA Foundation 2018 Merit List for Nov exam. The merit list will consist of top 50th ranks of candidates obtained in the exam. To check the merit list, the candidates have to login by entering their Registration Number/ Roll Number.
After the declaration of CA Foundation Result 2018, the candidates are issued a Statement of Marks and Rank Certificate. The statement of marks is sent by post and the rank certificate is issued to only those candidates who have secured a minimum of 60 percent marks in aggregate.
However, after the CA CPT Result is announced for the Dec exam, the candidates will be issued a Rank Card. It is usually available within two weeks from the declaration of the result. Moreover, the candidates who will get above the 70% marks in the CA CPT December examination will be given “Pass with Distinction” certificate along with the Marksheet.
