Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) will announce CA CPT, CA Foundation, and CA Final Result 2018 at 6:00 pm, today on January 23, 2019. The result will be available on the three official websites, which are icaiexam.icai.org, icaiexam.icai.org, and icaiexam.icai.org. With the result, ICAI will also release the All India Merit List, upto 50th Rank, for Final and Foundation course. The ICAI result will be declared for both, old and new units.
The date and time for the announcement of CA CPT, Foundation, and Final Result has been provided in the official notice, which states, “The results for the Chartered Accountants Final Examination (Old course and New Course), Foundation Examination and Common Proficiency Test (CPT) held in November / December, 2018 are likely to be declared in Wednesday, the 23rd January 2019 around 6:00 p.m…”. This indicates that candidates should expect the release of the result by evening. However, last time, the result was announced by 1:25 pm. Hence, it can happen that the Institute might release it earlier than 6:00 pm.
Candidates can check the result of CA CPT, CA Foundation, and CA Final via three modes, which are: through login, sms, or e-mail id. To check the result via login, candidates need to access any of the official website and click on the link for result of respective paper. Once done, a new login will open and in it, candidates will have to enter roll number, pin or registration number. Consequently, the result will be displayed on the dashboard. Candidates may download and save it.
To check the result via sms, candidates need to send an sms at 58888. This number works for all the mobile services, only if candidate sends the sms in correct format. The format for sms is – CACPT(space)Six Digit Roll Number. (E:G CACPT 001822). In return, candidates will get an sms in which all their marks and result for CA Final or Foundation or CPT will be provided.
To get result via e-mail, candidates had to access the official website of ICAI. Then, access the student login by entering Login Id and Password. In the dashboard, click on ‘E-mail Registration’ and then enter the required details like name, roll number, and e-mail id. When done, click on the “Register Me” button. If a candidates registered on the official website, then ICAI delivers their result on their e-mail.
The result of ICAI CA CPT, Foundation, and Final displays roll number, name, subject name, marks obtained, and result status. The marks obtained are provided in all the subjects and with it, the maximum-minimum marks are also displayed.
