Recent reports suggest that BSTC result 2019, that is the 1st year D.El.Ed result, has been announced by DIET Bikaner today. The result is in the form of a PDF file that contains roll numbers of promoted candidates, and also details of candidates who have been promoted only in practicals.
Many candidates received a pdf file in their social media circles yesterday and today that claims to be the result of D.El.Ed 1st year examinations held in Rajasthan, issued by the head of Rajasthan Department of Educational Examinations (written in hindi as “Karyalaya Panjiyak, Shiksha Vibhagiya Parikshaye, Rajasthan, Bikaner”).
In Rajasthan, D.El.Ed admissions are done on the basis of Rajasthan BSTC or Pre D.El.Ed entrance exam. Whereas newspapers are claiming that the Rajasthan D.El.Ed. 1st year result 2019 has been announced at bstc2019.org, it is actually the official website of the entrance exam, and not related to students who are studying the course.
A few reports also claim that result has been announced at education.rajasthan.gov.in, and uniraj.ac.in.
Students who had appeared in the first year examinations have confirmed that their roll number is in the list. Others whose roll numbers are not there are worried that they have not cleared the exam. There is also a section of students who are not able to check their result as they have forgotten their roll numbers.
Also, students want to know how they can check their marks because the pdf file available right now only conveys whether one has cleared the exam or not.
As per the BSTC result available, those candidates who have not been able to clear two exams, have also been promoted. Also such candidates who have cleared practicals, against their names, ‘XI’ has been used.
In the pdf file, around 17,800 students are said to have cleared all the papers. Other than that a list of roll numbers is given with a few numbers against them, that are of the papers in which they have qualified.
A leading daily in Rajasthan has also published a news report in print newspaper today saying that BSTC college Narayanpur has achieved 100% pass percentage. The news tells in detail about celebrations in the college, by the college authorities on achieving the perfect result. Authorities attribute the hard work and dedication of their students to the feat.
Official websites of Rajasthan that are related to BSTC / D.El.Ed are education.rajasthan.gov.in of the main educational body that looks after D.El.Ed program, bstc2019.org which was the website of last year’s entrance exam for the course. BSTC refers to Basic School Teaching Certificate, which is what the name of the course used to be before being named as D.El.Ed.
In this situation where official websites have not yet hosted the result, and yet news dictates that it is out, students should talk to their colleges and confirm their results before taking any decision on the basis of the BSTC 1st year result available online on other places.
